We are excited to announce the launch of EWB Jiunge – the one stop hub where engineering and technically specialized organizations and community organizations can access a range of pro bono opportunities and professional resources.
EWB Jiunge, an initiative of EWB Kenya, promotes opportunities for pro bono engineering and services, linking community projects in need with professional technical skills and advice. EWB Jiunge will now make it even easier for professionals and pro bono projects to link up and collaborate for social impact.
Engineers Without Borders Kenya (EWB) Kenya is a member-based, community organisation that creates social value through engineering. Through partnerships and collaboration, we focus on developing skills, knowledge and appropriate engineering solutions to the disadvantaged communities.
EWB Jiunge facilitates opportunities for:
- Businesses and communities to engage in pro bono services.
- Businesses to explore social value creation opportunities in the footprint of their core activities.
- Professional development in social value creation, human centered design and cross-cultural awareness.
